We respond to service calls for fires, fire alarm activation, carbon monoxide alarms, motor vehicle accidents, emergency medical intervention with the Manitoulin EMS and natural disasters.
Message from the Fire Department
- It is important to keep your property open and accessible for emergency vehicles.
- Make sure you have a working smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector on every floor and within your sleeping areas and to practice your escape plans annually.
- Regular chimney cleanings and proper maintenance is essential to reduce your chance of having a chimney fire. WETT inspections and cleanings can be completed by Wayne at Stone-Man Enterprises (705) 282-0111
- New Volunteers are always welcome!
