TOWNSHIP OF BILLINGS APPOINTS DAVID HILLYARD AS DEPUTY MAYOR
Billings, ON: A staff report was brought forward to the December 6, 2022 Township of Billings Council meeting regarding the appointment of the Deputy Mayor.
As with tradition, Council unanimously supported the appointment of Deputy Mayor to the Councillor with the most votes in the 2022 Municipal Election being David Hillyard.
Mayor Bryan Barker stated “Billings Township Council is pleased to have David Hillyard take on the new responsibilities of Deputy Mayor, we look forward to working with him over the term.”
“I am honoured to accept the appointment for the role of Deputy Mayor for the Township of Billings” stated Deputy Mayor Hillyard. “I look forward to working with my fellow Councillors staff, and community members to develop and advance important projects for our community.”
