MAYOR BARKER EXTENDS GRATITUDE TO OUR VOLUNTEERS
“Volunteering Weaves Us Together”

Sunday marked the beginning of this year’s Volunteer Week (16-22 April). This year’s theme is “Volunteering Weaves Us Together”. On behalf of council and staff I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for your service and commitment as a volunteer.
As volunteers you matter and you do make a difference in the quality of life within our community. Your willingness to share both your time and your talent by volunteering, whether it be for a board, a committee, our fire department or for general community improvement, is greatly appreciated. When you volunteer, you are making a commitment to share that most precious of resources, your time.

I want to let you know just how much your dedication is appreciated. Whether you are a long-time volunteer or if you got involved fairly recently, and regardless of how many hours you choose to give, it’s important for you to know that what you do makes a difference. Words cannot adequately express the gratitude that I, council and the staff of Billings Township wish to convey.
Please know that your volunteerism is recognized, appreciated, valued, and cherished. Again thank-you for your commitment and service and we look forward to working with you in 2023.
