The Township of Billings has recently established an Infrastructure Committee and is seeking a resident (with the same qualifications as a voting member in a municipal election) to sit on this committee.
The purpose of the Infrastructure Committee is to provide a forum for information sharing and decision-making by Council members, Public Works and public representation on matters related to municipal infrastructure including but not limited by roads, buildings, landfill, implementation of community energy planning and related concerns. Meetings will normally be once a month, during the day.
