BE IT RESOLVED THAT this regular meeting of Council be opened at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Austin Hunt presiding in the Chair.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the February 2, 2015 Committee of the Whole meeting be accepted as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the February 17, 2015 regular meeting of Council be accepted as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the March 2, 2015 Committee of the Whole meeting be accepted as presented.

Councillor Erskine reported on the Winterfest event.
Councillor Erskine reported on the Waste Management Advisory Committee meeting held February 26, 2015.
Councillor Imrie reported that the location of the Emergency Evacuation Centre has been temporarily changed to the Fire Hall at 95 Main Street.
Mayor Hunt reported on the OGRA/ROMA (Ontario Good Roads) Conference that he attended last week.

2015-59 Imrie – Alkenbrack
BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law 2015-11, being a By-Law to enter into an agreement with David Hurcomb be given first, second and third reading and enacted.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law 2015-12, being a By-Law to enter into an agreement with Pat Hess be given first, second and third reading and enacted.

2015-61 Erskine – Imrie
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council instructs the Clerk Treasurer to enter into an agreement to Lease a new photocopier, as quoted.

2015-62 Imrie – Erskine
WHEREAS, the Winter Maintenance Plan requires that from November 1 to April 30, the minimum standard is to monitor the weather, both current and forecast to occur in the next 24 hours, once every shift or three times per calendar day, whichever is more frequent;
AND WHEREAS, by providing the Public Works Superintendent with High Speed Internet to monitor the weather from home, there would be a significant decrease in overtime worked
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Council agrees to have the Township to pay for the Public Works Superintendent’s high speed internet, from Vianet.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council instructs the Clerk Treasurer to advertise for a Building Cleaner/General Maintenance person for the Municipal Office, Park Centre, 91 Main St. Lower and Public Works Garage for a three year term.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council acknowledges receipt of the 2014 Annual Report for the Kagawong Water Treatment System.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council agrees that the Township will pay the registration and expenses for Bruce Mercer to attend Part 1 – Municipal Law Enforcement Foundations on May 25-29, 2015.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council instructs the Public Works Superintendent to tender for 7.2 km of single surface treatment.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Township will pay the registration for Bruce Mercer and Kathy McDonald to attend Excel Training at 4elements Studio, Kagawong, March 25, 2015.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorizes the following accounts for payment:
General Accounts $146,345.46
and that the Mayor and Treasurer be authorized to sign cheques number 2901 to 2930 as described in the attached register.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law 2015-13, being a By-law to confirm the proceedings of Council be given first, second and third reading and enacted.
