BE IT RESOLVED THAT this special meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings be opened with a quorum present and 12 noon with Mayor Austin Hunt presiding.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we go in camera at 12:10 p.m. to discuss matters pertaining to personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees or employee negotiations as per the Municipal Act. Section 239(2) (b).

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we adjourn from this in camera meeting at 12:28 and resume our regular meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT with regret we accept the resignation of the Public Works Superintendent Dave Carr, effective January 23, 2013.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Billings Council instructs the Clerk Treasurer to call Chris to return to work.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council directs the Clerk Treasurer to increase the First Public Works Employee’s hourly rate by $1.52 and to promote him to Acting Public Works Superintendent until further notice.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we adjourn from this special meeting of Council at 12:55 until our next meeting of February 5, 2013 or Call of the Chair.
