BE IT RESOLVED THAT this regular meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings be opened with a quorum present at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Austin Hunt presiding.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the removal of three trees from the library property.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT June 1 to 30 be proclaimed as Seniors Month.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorizes the following accounts for payment:
General Accounts $78,932.27
And that the Mayor and Treasurer be authorized to sign cheques number 3755 to 3774 as described in the attached register.

WHEREAS, Section 239(3) (a) of the Municipal Act states that a meeting shall be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is a request under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, if the council, board, commission or other body is the head of an institution for the purposes of the Act;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council goes “in Camera” at 8:17 a.m. to discuss an issue pertaining to a request under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
