BE IT RESOLVED that Council accepts the minutes of the March 7, 2017 Council meeting as presented.

Councillor Parker reported on the Manitoulin Municipal Association meeting held March 15, 2017.
Councillor Erskine reported on the Recreation Committee, the Go Green Committee, the Joint Building Systems Committee and the Canada 150 Committee.
Councillor Alkenbrack reported on the Economic Development Committee meeting that was held March 19, 2017.

BE IT RESOLVED that By-Law 2017-15, being a by-law to enter into a lease agreement for 156 Main Street be given first, second, third reading and enacted.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Township will pay the registration and expenses for Floyd Becks to attend the T.J. Mahony Road School May 8 -10 and for Chris Cyr to attend the Municipal Health and Safety Course from May 8 – 10.

BE IT RESOLVED that in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. Chapter 25, this Council proceed to a Closed Session at 8:15 p.m. in order to discuss a matter pertaining to personal matters about an individual, including municipal or local Board and labour relations or employee negotiations.
