BE IT RESOLVED that this regular meeting of Council be opened with a quorum present at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Hunt presiding.

BE IT RESOLVED that the agenda for the April 18, 2017 regular meeting of Council be accepted as amended.

The agenda was amended to remove item 7. Old Business d) Marina Students and add under 8. New Business item e) Dam Water Levels.
Councillor Alkenbrack reported on the Economic Development Committee.
Councillor Erskine reported on the Recreation Committees Easter Egg Hunt and the Joint Building Systems Committee.
Councillor Erskine reported on the upcoming Green Living Event and community clean up to be held April 22.
Councillor Erskine reported that the next Canada 150 Committee meeting will be held Wednesday April 19, 2017.
Mayor Hunt reported that he received a letter from Francois Choquette regarding Bill C-203, which is an Act to amend the Supreme Court Act (understanding the official languages).

BE IT RESOLVED that Council accepts the minutes of the April 4, 2017 Council meeting as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED that Council rescind resolution 2017-084 regarding approving the spraying of herbicide by Hydro One.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council has reviewed Planning Board Application for Consent, File B-10-17 and has the following comments:
Section 5.3 of the application was not filled out; missing information includes being within 500 metres of agricultural property and industrial/commercial use property and the proximity to the unevaluated wetland. Council approves the application provided that all outstanding taxes, water levy and water capital is paid at time of transfer and pending receipt of Offer to Purchase confirming township will receive outstanding owed funds.
